Setting up IPTV for the first time can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to be. This guide walks you through every step to get your DublinTV subscription running on any device in Ireland, from Amazon Firestick to Samsung Smart TV, in under 15 minutes.
What You Need Before You Start
Before installing anything, make sure you have the following ready:
- A confirmed DublinTV subscription (M3U URL and login credentials sent via WhatsApp)
- A stable internet connection — minimum 25 Mbps for HD, 50 Mbps for 4K
- Your device of choice (Firestick, Android TV Box, Smart TV, or mobile)
- An IPTV player app installed (see recommendations below)
Step 1 – Choose Your IPTV Player

Step 2 – Install Your App
On Firestick:
- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable « Apps from Unknown Sources »
- Open the Downloader app (install from the Amazon Store if not present)

On Android TV / Box:

An Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) shows you what’s currently on and what’s coming up on each channel — essential for sports and live events. In TiviMate or IPTV Smarters, go to Settings → EPG and enter the EPG URL provided in your DublinTV welcome pack. The guide updates automatically every 24 hours.
Step 5 – Optimise Your Streaming Quality
For the best picture quality, adjust these settings in your player:
- Set the video decoder to hardware (reduces buffering)
- Enable reconnect on error for uninterrupted viewing
- If using Wi-Fi, connect your streaming device to your 5GHz band, not 2.4GHz
- For 4K channels, ensure your TV supports HDCP 2.2
Important: Never share your M3U URL or login credentials with anyone. Each subscription allows a set number of simultaneous streams. Sharing access violates the terms of service and may result in account suspension.
